Weight Pull

A calm strength sport where the dog works with technique, control and proper equipment.

What is it?

Weight Pull is about focus, power and teamwork. The dog pulls a cart or sled across a defined track in a fitted harness. Good training starts light, technical and predictable.

Load only increases when the dog understands the task, keeps safe technique and is physically ready for more work.

Safe progression

A good session is not a test of maximum will. It is planned: proper harness, warm-up, short pulls, rest and a clear finish while the dog still has energy left.

Young dogs and beginners should start with environment, technique and very light load. The goal is confident understanding before physical performance.
